As the saying goes all good things must come to an end, so unfortunately June 6 was our final party at club Escudo in soi thonglor. Yup thats it.. Escudo has finally shut down , well at least until they figure out what to do with there club. So far the past 3 session at Escudo have been great. Wicked turnout and wicked vibes. So it sucks that I am going to have to find another home for Dubway.

But if your gonna go out, then make sure you go out with a bang. So for our final session I booked DJ Red Eyes (bingo recordings,spearhead). Red is one of my favourite drum n bass producers. His approach to crafting beautiful,creative and deep drum n bass is inspiring to me.

At Dubway Red rocked the the dancefloor along side mc Youthman. It was so good to hear the freshest dnb tunes from europe and also youthman rocked the mic in fine stylee. It was also great to see everyone going off to the music. I'm hoping that I get another chance to book him next year.

Mixed live the hour long podcast goes through some of Red Eyes early and current productions. I'm sorry to say that I was unable to get a Play list off of him (duh!). But either way roll up a fat one and check out the tunes fresh out of Red's Studio.

Its been raining hard as hell this month in Bangkok. I really hate rain so when I was making this podcast I really wasn’t in the mood to play anything too chill. I ‘ll save those tunes for a sunny day. This months podcast is for those who like it ruff.

Also I was sent some audio tracks (2 years ago) from Dan Stezo an MC from the Holland’s Fever crew. I was supposed to have used the audio he sent ages ago, but I never got round to it (excuses). So I decided to use bits of his audio for this months Podcast.

A native of Holland Dan isnt a new comer to rain or drum n bass. He is a veteran of the Dutch dnb scene and he has mc’d for a few of our Homebass parties in Bangkok as well. I was supposed to use more of his audio but he recorded it at 170 bpm so I guess I will save the other bits for next time when I do my drum n bass show .
